St Saviour's Jubilee mural

St Saviour's school commissioned a tile mural to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth. Every child in the school participated, either in painting a whole tile, or drawing an insect which was incorporated into the design. Tiles represented coats of arms, and the flags of the Commonwealth nations. At the centre is the royal standard. The finished work brings colour and drama to the playground. Completed summer 2002 and opened by Sir Edward Ford.
